It's one of my favorites because it's charming, historical, sophisticated, comfortable and architectural n a beautiful setting. The grounds with lake views are fantastic. Contemporary atrium windows. Great visit in a remote location. Taxis are needed to reach town center.

Such a gorgeous oasis within walking distance from town. Our windows were faced to park - very relaxing view at morning. Then even better breakfast - I loved my porrige with cinamon apple mousse and berry compot. Hotel itself needs some upgrades but receptionist informed us about renovation planned for this winter. I look forward to come back next summer....

This hotel was welcoming, full of character and in a beautiful setting just down the road from Muckross House. Quirky bedroom, comfortable, slightly shabby décor, but cosy and with all mod cons. However, the real jewel in the crown was the evening meal. One of the best meals I have ever tasted in a hotel. I will definitely be back...

A beautiful autumn break matched by service of the highest order. The quality of the food was exceptional during my stay. The bedroom looked out on a bucolic scene. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff must be commended.Iowa

The first thing that strikes you when you drive up the tree lined driveway is the old manor house which is a lovely building. We received a really warm greeting both form our receptionist and the fire blazing in the hearth. Having been shown our very spacious room and testing the large and very comfortable bed I had a shower...
