I would highly recommend the Clayton hotel Galway for any essential workers looking for accommodation in the Galway area. Just ask for Stephanie at reception be she will look after you . Always there with a friendly smile and very helpful and makes you feel like you’re family being welcomed home. Worth upgrading if possible as the rooms on level 4 are really great and spacious. Underfloor heating in the bathroom is a lovely touch with big bath and huge walk in shower. Very comfortable big bed and good size tv. The bar has lovely food and great Guinness served by Donal and Clark ,another two members of staff who are a credit to the hotel just like Stephanie. Looking forward to going back next week and also when all this lockdown is over . A truly fabulous hotel. Book it , you won’t be disappointed!
