I was not happy with the loft or attic room as I am 6ft tall so woke with back pain and could not stand and stretch in the room. I feel I should have been offered a choice to change rooms, I also said my knees are bad so climb 3 flights stairs and lug all cases with no assistance...

Located 1.5km away from city centre, the lodge is in comfortable and quiet location, city centre is easy to reach by foot. Moreover, the aquarium is less than 1km away by the Galway bay. The room was equipped with hairdryer, extra blankets, kettle, cups, teas and coffees as well as shower gels in the bathroom. The only downfall would be...

Andrew and his staff went out of their way to insure we had the right directions to Cliffs of Moher and Clilfden as well as extending gracious hospitality to us. We especially enjoyed La Collina Italian restaurant just down the road and the Spanish Arch Bar in the Latin Quarter--both recommended by Andrew.

We stayed for 3 nights at Anbelle Lodge, in the fascinating city of Galway. The B&B is on the west side of the city, at Salthill, which is the local beach resort for the city. We were (and isn't it always thus in Ireland) made to feel like honoured guests, given lots of local information, and we felt we knew...

This was an outstanding B and B. The host and the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Cleanliness was of the highest order and the continental breakfast was very satisfying with an assortment of fresh fruit, cereals, croissants, toasts, cold meats and cheese, jams, juices and tea and coffee. A very short walk to the promenade to then walk into...

Stayed in this B&B for 1 night. A little disappointed with the room, we had a triple but it was very small and i must have banged my head at least 5 times on the sloped ceilings! The hosts were friendly & helpful though and the location is handy to the Promenade. Not a fan of the continental breakfast, hard...

clean and cosy room, good location around the corner from the seaside and right beside the bus stop, not far from town. Breakfast was lovely with cereals, fresh fruit, toast and pastries. Hosts very friendly!

Simply loved the B&B! Clean rooms and very quiet, even in the room towards the street, no disturbance of noise at all. All necessities are there and the breakfast is decent and healthy. Landlords are very warm people, always ready to help a hand and answer your questions. Huge props to Anbelle Lodge and I would definitely recommend it!

I stayed for two nights in June and really I should've cancelled the second night, There is nothing specifically wrong with the Anbelle Lodge except I've never stayed anywhere quite so anonymous. The fit out is incredibly cheap with literally no character. The room I had was tiny (if I had to stay there as a double, I definitely wouldn't...

I wish we could give this place a better review. There were good points, but overall this didn't work out. Pros: the hosts did try to be helpful. Andrew, especially, could not have been friendlier or more cheerful. It was very clean. The continental breakfast was nice. And we quite enjoyed the location just up the road from Salthill pubs and...
