This was the first time my husband and myself stayed at a B&B. We weren't sure what to expect but we had read all the glowing reports on trip advisor. First of all, Mary and Tom are the most gracious hosts. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the bathrooms were en suite. Breakfast was freshly prepared...

Mary provides a warm but not intrusive welcome. We felt totally at ease in Marless House - sometimes i can feel a little uncomfortable in a B&B as they are smaller and generally also the hosts home but Marless felt like our home. The entire house was spotless and well furnished. We had a lovely spacious room with a sea...

This Bed and Breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Mary is a real Irish Gem, and I felt like I was leaving a family member after staying for 4 days. Apart from a totally wonderful person, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was amazing! We took some day excursions, Mary organized them for us and we got picked up at the...

My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay here, despite coming in the offseason. The rooms were clean and warm, and Mary was welcoming and very accommodating. Salthill is a bit of a walk to the center of Galway, but it's a nice stretch of the legs after a day in the car. I'd recommend the Marless House to anyone...

Nobody has anything bad to say about this place, and almost EVERYONE rates it as Excellent. That's because it is. Mary is just a true delight. We enjoyed visiting with her over tea, and we were absolutely spoiled by her amazing menu for breakfast, all cooked to order! The location is great as it's not too far from Galway center,...

Stayed two nights this past October with my two daughters in one of the most beautiful room in the house. Everything about the house is great. The house is less than a block from the coast. There is a wide promenade walkway all along the water from Salthill to Galway, it's about a 40 minute walk. Mary drew us a...

We based ourselves for three nights very close to Galway at the Marless House B&B. It is only several hundred yards from Galway Bay and the promenade. Owners Mary and Tom Geraghty are the perfect hosts; it is like staying with your favorite relatives. Her care, attention to detail and good humor is contagious. She is an encyclopedia of information...

If you find driving in Ireland a challenge, as I do, This B&B deserves an A. Marless House is right off the promenade in Salthill, less than a hundred yards from the 401 bus stop. This made getting into Galway hassle-free (just 10 minutes and 1.85 euro) The innkeeper is knowledgeable with good recommendations for Galway. Very restful accommodations, excellent...

10/16/13 to 10/18/13 Mary is the perfect hostess and made us feel right at home in her beautiful B&B located a short walk to Galway Bay. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent with many choices. We enjoyed chatting with Mary and her husband about their family and the 30 plus years of operating this wonderful inn. Mary,...
