This hotel is in a great location! Eyre Square and the pubs in downtown Galway are all within walking distance. The rooms were fine - nothing special. We did find it odd that there wasn't a safe provided in the room. The food was good, but honestly what stuck out the most to me was the lack of safe. On my next trip I would prefer to try some place else, but it's not like I'd never stay here again. (Our trip was March 2019)

The receptionist was extremely rude to me and hung up on me as I was asking a question. I was very upset with this and tried to talk to a manager but was refused by receptionist when I called back. Extra money (€350) was charged to my card and I when I questioned this I was talked to very rudely. I will not be returning and I will not ever recommend to a friend.

We stopped in on a fast overnight stay on out way to a business meeting. Got in at 2 am. Manager was friendly, room was clean and smelled good and the bed was absolute heaven. We slept like we were on a cloud. Although we just used it to sleep the hotel featured a tv and microwave with fridge. Bathroom had been sanitized. Will be stopping here again on way home.
