The view and atmosphere in the rooms at the front of this hotel are great. It is very noisy but that's what you expect on a main street in Galway. A great place to experience buzzing Galway in clean basic accommodation.

We stayed at the Spanish Arch Hotel for four nights, including a Saturday. The hotel is extremely centrally located for Galway's restaurants, pubs, etc. The room was clean but the bed uncomfortable (our double bed was two singles pushed together). The fact that it is directly over a pub is both a blessing and a curse - we enjoyed the...

We stayed in Galway for one night and found the hotel perfectly adequate. It's not luxurious but served it purpose perfectly. The location is ideal on the bottom of Quay street. I'd definitely stay here again. Great value for money. Our stay was during the week though, and I fear it could be very noisey on a Saturday night.

When i first arrived here, the room was sweltering hot. After speaking to the front desk, they moved us to a room that had a better breeze. This was much better until the morning, when they started cleaning the streets up about 6am. The sounds of dump trucks and dumping bottles woke us up. But the location to the pubs...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Spanish Arch for two nights and it was the perfect base for exploring Galway and getting out to some of the surrounding sights. Parking is affordable and very convenient. Our room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and relatively quiet, especially given the hotel's central location. We didn't get a chance to go...

My friend and I spent 2 nights at the Spanish Arch and had a blast! Located in the heart of Galways shopping and pub/restaurant district, you'll never have to worry about calling a cab or missing any of the fun (of which there's plenty!). Plus, the staff was always gracious and ready to help.

This hotel is located on Quay Street, the bustling heart of Galway. If you are driving into Galway, you can park close by and walk to all the points of interest during your stay. Our room was facing busy Quay Street so it was a little noisy after hours but it is not a problem if you are visiting Galway...

The location is the only thing that allows this hotel to charge the expensive room rates. I'd defo rate 3 star but prices are way over the top. Still, staff were lovely. Friendly bar staff ans convenient having restaurant attached that served good food. Could do with a bit of a re-vamp.
