We stayed at The Stop in early September 2013 for 2 nights. We had an excellent experience. Russell and Emer, the owners, were wonderful hosts as were their staff. It was the right combination of service and privacy. The breakfast was excellent. The sitting room was large and comfortable with fresh baked cookies. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Stop...

My family and I recently returned from a 14 day visit to Ireland, of which our 3 night stay at 'The Stop ' was certainly the highlight. The owners, Emer and Russell go above and beyond to ensure that all of their guests' needs are met. Included in the price of each room, is the most delicious Irish breakfast one...

This B&B is located just a short walking distance (10 minutes) into the city of Galway. Russell and Emer are wonderful hosts, dare I say near perfect in my opinion. I highly recommend this B&B and if I find myself in Galway I will without a doubt be staying here again. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was...

We stood for 4 days in the B&B "The Stop - Kilcullen House". Russell, Emer and there Team were very friendly. The House is near the centre of Galway, about 5 min by foot. Our room was comfortable and the best of all was the breakfast. There are different meals and each is prepared with love. We did two Trips...

Stayed here for 2 nights. House is big and cheerful. Rooms are comfortable, clean and modern. Great location - easy walk to town and a fantastic pub with live Irish music just around the corner (which was on Russell's list of recommendations). Breakfast was great. Definitely recommend.

Stayed a couple of nights visiting Galway city. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk into the old heart of the city, with secure parking ( if a bit tight!), Nice contemporary décor ( think IKEA ) and original artwork everywhere. Spotlessly clean. Really welcoming hosts who really try to help their guests enjoy Galway. Excellent breakfasts. Would like...

Russel and Emer couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. They and their staff do everything possible to make a stay wonderful and they succeeded with us. They go overboard with local maps and directions, even booking a table for you while you are out and about. I think in a B&B, a bed is a bed, a shower is a...

Loved all aspects of The Stop. Owners so friendly and helpful. Clean, bright, arty surroundings. Dinky rooms. Breakfast a taste sensation. Great vibe. And a great location! We'll definitely be staying again on our next trip to Galway.

We arrived in Galway after having flown in from Shannon that morning. By the time we arrived at "the stop", we were tired from jet lag and a little bit shaken from a flat tire we'd dealt with earlier near the Cliffs of Moher. While we never met Emer, Russell was there to greet us and show us our room....
