We spent two nights at Bayberry House. Tom and Marie were great hosts. The room was lovely and airy. The location was perfect in getting around the Galway area. I wished I'd had the porridge based on the reviews. Marie went out of her way to make suggestions of things we might want to explore. The breakfasts were excellent.

We stayed at Bayberry House two nights when we were in Galway City. It was wonderful. It was like a home away from home. Tom and Marie were a delight! We still talk about the porridge we had in the morning that was the creamiest and most delicious porridge that has ever touched my mouth. I have been thinking about...

We had a wonderful stay at Bayberry House. The house is beautiful and the rooms are so nicely decorated. My kids especially liked the chocolate that Marie put in the room every night! Marie and Tom were very attentive and so helpful. Tom drove us into Galway our first day and Marie worked hard to find us a walking tour...

We were coming to the end of our two week Irish journey when we pulled into the Bayberry driveway. What a pretty house. Our room was large and comfortable. The lounge was full of comfy furniture and we just plopped down and watched some television with a nice cup of tea in our hands. Our hostess was a wealth of...

Galway City is celebrated for its "Irishness" but that’s only part of the story. While clearly bathed in its past and steeped in folklore, make no mistake, this is a college town at heart with a distinctly bohemian flavor. The city has a vibrant street scene and is very pedestrian friendly. There are tons of great pubs and restaurants (The...

Galway is a really confusing place to drive around, but Tom will guide you by phone. Heck, he'll even taxi you into town. We got there late afternoon and unloaded our things, were swiftly taken into town, and enjoyed the sights and ate until we taxied our way home. Marie has a large selection of foods for breakfast, and she...

We were given a vary small room. So small we had no place to put our luggage. The fan in the bathroom did not work. Mould around shower tray. We were late 5 minutes for breakfast and they said it was over. We were on vacation, 5 miuntes was not a big deal really.

Marie & Tom make the best breakfast in town. The room was comfortable and clean. If you get lost Tom will come & find you. They are located in a nice safe neighborhood. Perfect for walking downtown and taking a short cab ride back. No need to drive once you are there. The tour bus will even pick you up...

We stayed for a couple of nights and found this to be a favorite. The room was spacious and clean. Marie was wonderful in suggesting places to eat and see. If we get back to Galway, we will definately stay with Marie at Bayberry House.
