We arrived in the mid evening when it was dark outside. The reception is really dark and you think the lights have failed which makes it very difficult to sign the forms. It was also cold. There are four very differently styled lounges not unlike a VIP nightclub and each have very different styles. The corridors to the rooms are red...

We loved our stay at the G hotel. After a rain soaked day of visiting the Cliffs and white-knuckling through some county roads, it was great to come to a beautifully appointed & clean hotel. It's a modern fit with many pink & fuchia accents throughout and the staff was incredibly helpful. Not only providing directions, but offering us umbrellas...

Very expensive. Definitely not 5* quality, more a basic 4*. Positive points: comfortable, good sized rooms. Negative: bathroom skirting and walls very dirty, not cleaned property, very off putting, breakfast was good (but not 5* quality, also waiter completely ignored my request with regard to a breakfast dish), coffee was terribly bitter and strong (had to specifically request an americano)...

We celebrated my hubby's birthday here. The hotel itself is outside the city but irlt is lovely to relax in. The staff were pleasant, the rooms were spectacular and we had cupcakes and a birthday note left out for my hubby. We had dinner booked in the restaurant, staff again amazing and dinner was an occasion!A great one! The bar I would think...

We had stayed here several times in the past and felt that the standards had dropped over the years, in particular regarding service. This time however we were pleasantly surprised. The lounge service in the afternoon was excellent, and at dinner it was unrecognisable from previous visits. The head waiter Miroslav was top drawer, not only in his own role...

I was a little disappointed after booking this hotel having read some the comments on here. Disappointed however, is definitely something I was NOT after our weekend in the g. It was an experience to say the least. From the moment we stepped in the door we were amazed. The interior for starters was matchless. I had booked this hotel...

The hotel is attached to a mall, which is a little strange, but with plenty of parking in the underground garage and an elevator up to the hotel lobby. The staff was very nice and professional, including helping with driving directions. The lobby and lounge/bar area was appealing, with high ceilings, plenty of seating and a view of the bay....

OK, I know it seems like I just 5-star everything in Ireland, but we really did have top-flight experiences there, including at this hotel. The staff was super friendly... they booked our Cliffs of Moher tour for us hassle-free, for example. Also, super-cool consierge Aiden (sp.?) was great. He even disturbed the sea anemone in the aquarium for us so...
