Just lovely, we had adjoining rooms for four of us ladies. We had our dinner in a lovely seated area-you have a choice of three or four different areas all with beautiful color schemes. Breakfast excellent, thermal suites a treat and staff just fantastic. I could not recommend th

Hi, i have booked for my partner and i to stay two nights (2nd and 3rd Jan) will pool/ spa facilities be open? Do we need to pre book spa or are we ok to decide on the day? Really looking forward to it. He has never been to Galway so it will be a real treat, especially to stay in the G hotel. Anyone any recommendations? Many thanks.
Just back from a short stay there. Spa was completely booked when we arrived, didn’t bother us as that wasn’t the purpose for our visit but I’d definitely recommend booking well ahead of time if you want to make sure of your choices.

Hi we are due to head there for our mini moon on the 14th . any local attractions nearby ? can tickets be purchased at front desk ? is there nightly entertainment? any close nightclubs / night life ? and is the bay close by . ? haven't been to Galway in years so would like to know a little bit before we go 🙂
Hi, although it's a gorgeous hotel, The G isn't in the best location. It is a 20 minute walk into the centre and is built in a retail park. I'm not sure what kind of tickets you mean so can't help with that but there is a concierge desk so I'd imagine they would be helpful. I stayed midweek and found the bar area very quiet , I live in Galway and have actually never heard of any entertainment taking place there, except for maybe race week. To be honest there isn't much around it except for a pub across the road which would be livelier than the hotel . The hotel is across from Lough Atalia but to see Galway Bay you would need to head to Salthill which is around 15 minute drive. So for nightlife and sightseeing you will definitely be best to catch a taxi into town or walk if it is one of the rare days when it isn't raining!! Galway is a great place to visit and I'm sure you will a lovely stay.
