The first thing that struck me about the hotel was its calmness and the ambience…very soothing. I am a freak when it comes to cleanliness of bathrooms and toilets, and Clybaun scores pretty high on this critical factor. In addition, the rooms are in top shape and very well kept. I must also say something about the staff….very warm, courteous and professional. Plus, if you are a foodie, then you are in for a good time. It is also good to mention that the location of the hotel is very calming to the nerves. I would recommend this hotel again and again, and I look forward to going back there. So, if you find yourself in Galway someday, please, do not hesitate to make Clybaun hotel your “home”....

I stayed here last Friday night with my boyfriend and we loved every moment of our stay! Good Value, great location and you can see very clearly all the Covid-19 measures they are taking. I work in housekeeping as well as the bar trade so I have an extremely high standard of how a hotel room should look and I honestly can hand on heart say that the room was spotess, I dont have a single bad remark to make. Staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast was unreal. Will defo be back again! Thanks for an amazing stay guys!

Recently had dinner in the Bar. Food was very tasty, good selection and staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely atmoshphere. Hand sanitizer stations dotted around the hotel and was very impressed to see the manager ask somebody to wear their mask when walking around. Only issue was to gain access to mens toilet you need a code for the door, feel due to current Covid situation that this is not a good idea as there was alot of people using it and I didn't see it being cleaned down once. Otherwise, hotel felt very safe.

Very comfortable stay, beautiful breakfast included, and very friendly staff. We had dinner there on one of the nights and the food was lovely. We had issues with the TV the first night but it was resolved quite quickly by one of the hotel staff. The hotel was well set up in accordance with current HSE guidelines.
