Stayed as part of a large group and had the best experience. The hotel was very clean and the rooms are beautiful. The staff were so friendly. It was so accommodating for our group we were all put on the same floor. All covid rules were abided by. The manager was extremely helpful and really welcoming. The hotel is in the perfect location just off of Eyre square. Would highly recommend this hotel. 5 stars!!

I attended the Park House hotel with my parents, aunt, uncle and cousin to mark my graduation. From my booking the staff were so friendly. The man who I say was the manger who took my booking was so nice. Every staff member that served the table address me by my name and congratulated me. They couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was an issue. It was my first time, everyone else has been before, and I can safely say it won’t be my last. I would just like to thank everyone for making my day special during these strange times!

We enjoyed another return visit to the Park House, for one night, and especially appreciated its central location at the edge of Eyre Square. It’s beside the intercity bus and train stations and within walking distance of practically everywhere a visitor will want to visit in downtown Galway. A complimentary car park is integrated into the hotel. The hotel is a successful conversion of an older building and blends well with its locality. Minimalists may not enjoy the over-decorated public areas and the occasionally kitsch art but there are also evocative historic photos on the walls. Our room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. Lighting was excellent. Everything worked, except the ‘smart’ TV, which came without any instructions and was too smart for us. Breakfast is a quality buffet with attentive service and excellent hot food cooked to order. The staff seem to be a happy team and all those we met were friendly, efficient and eager to help. WiFi is uncomplicated, fast and free. Galway has a good collection of hotels but we recommend the Park House to those who appreciate location and don’t need ‘leisure facilities’

We recently had a group lunch for a birthday celebration. It was excellent. Staff were so accommodating and the food was great. Extra touches like personalised menu and desert for the person celebrating birthday made it extra special. We greatly appreciated it.
