I travel a lot from Dublin to Galway on business and have stayed in my fair share of B&B's, I have never stayed anywhere like Ard Mhuire. The guests are warm and hospitable. The room I stayed in was beautiful and the beds extremely comfortable.

Where do I start? I booked 3 nights in Ard Mhuire via a third party booking site. I immediately realised that I had made a mistake and should only have booked 2 nights. Worried that the proprietor would be inconvenienced by this, I called him straight away to inform him of my error. I was assured that no harm had...

In a good location for Salthill prom. I slept well and the staff were friendly and helpful. Phoned a week or so ahead to say i'd be arriving after 9pm. No problem there. Plenty of cereals, fruit, cheese, and soda bread at the breakfast buffet, and cooked breakfast available for €4. For the price paid my expectations were met.

This was my least favorite out of the 5 B&B's I stayed at in Ireland. Shower was ice cold, had to pay for breakfast if you wanted anything besides toast and fruit, and the sheets did not appear to be 100% clean. The room was otherwise cute and there was coffee in the room. About a half mile to the...

First off, this is far from a 4 star B&B I booked a "Triple" room at what looked like a decent place, but despite the photo of the room showing three beds, there were only 2 when we arrived and she said the booking had been made for 2 people. I briefly protested and said we booked a triple, but...

We found it difficult to find but in all fairness it was a dark and rainy night. Our room was in the front which was a bit noisy (avoid room 1), it had poor TV reception and no WiFi and the coffe/tea making facilities were extremely awkward. The location was good, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast on...

We stayed here for 3 nights recently and enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of our host Padraic. Very close to eateries at Salthill and the beach (provided of course the weather is in your favour). Ard Mhuire has a small lounge with a large screen TV for use by guests which we found useful on a miserable rainy day and...

Padraic was friendly and accommodating, the room clean and best of all it was in a quiet neighborhood yet close enough to walk to Salthill or take a bus to Galway. We had a car and found it so convenient for heading up into Connemara for the breathtaking views. Breakfast was great, anything from a traditional Irish breakfast to custom...

An excellent B&B with superb rooms. All very clean and new. The decoration is modern and functional. The bathroom clean and perfect. The towells perhaps a little used. The owners were friendly and very kind. The breakfast was superb. Located in Salthill, 5 minutes to Galway center by car. Wifi is not available in all the rooms, but there is...
