A great hotel, friendly check-in staff but avoid the restaurant and bar- nobody is in charge and the staff run around, stressed out like headless chickens. They do not seem to have system.Four different people served me after I gave my food order. It took half an hour for a drink to come and one server gruffly remarked that he did not...

I chose this hotel because I was meeting up with my Iris cousin and her child. We had adjoining rooms and all went smoothly. Wonderful front desk employees. lots for children to do within hotel. There was even activities for children everyday. the bar/restaurant on premises was excellent. Great cocktails were made. Only negative was that the fantastic pool was...

I arrived at the Connacht without a booking- no rooms in Galway city- and a very helpful receptionist cared enough to check for cancellations, rather than give the standard ''we're full'' reply as in other hotels. My room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent, and the Coffee a real hit. Was checked out by an equally friendly...

I booked a 2 night stay with my two daughters, 13 & 10, for a treat before returning to school. I'm actually on my 2nd night at the moment but I couldn't wait to write review!!! I contacted the hotel the day before to enquire about the room we were allocated. I was informed it was a room with 2...

We stayed here for a 2 night family break at the start of August. No Cead Mile Failte here! We were asked for an additional €40 for our 2 kids breakfasts at check-in which was strange as we had booked a family break. We got to our non-smoking smokey smelling tiny family room and they only had beds for 3....

The twin room that my daughter and I occupied was on the second floor of the hotel. It was a twin bedded room with two very large beds. The decoration / lighting weren't brilliant but the room was at the rear of the hotel on the second floor overlooking a sports complex, and as such was very quiet. We ate...

Just returned from my second visit to this hotel. Stayed in their 1 Bed Apartment, which is ideal for a family of 2 adults and 2 small children. Excellent facilities, especially kids club and pool.( although the extra charges for the kids club for those in Apartments is a drawback) However, there seem to be staff shortages and delays in...

Have to say the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful but the hotel itself is quite shabby. The bedroom walls must be paper thin as you could hear the snoring and talking in the adjoining rooms and every movement on the corridors which started very early and went on very late at night!
