The pictures online appear to show a nice hotel. The room (twin) was inexpensive but the hotel got good reviews. This is an old and rundown hotel. Tiny room, no chain or deadbolt on the door, night stands had tops ripped off, rug was sticky and there were stains on the bedding. The room was disgusting! No way we were...

We arrived on a Friday evening found the reception staff very pleasant and this also related to the other staff working throughout the hotel. The room was just ok could do with a bit of modernising in general to spruce it up and again this relates to the rest of the hotel as well. The food was fine both breakfast...

We came in on a late afternoon to grab a bite to eat. The first bartender was friendly, but after a while he was swapped out with a rude bartender.. who made an excuse for every drink to avoid having to make it. More or less just wanted us to order beers he could pour outta a bottle. Lazy for...

Stayed here for one night in room 109. Small room and the furniture could do with an update. The room I had was at the back with the smell of the Kitchen coming in and also the noise however , the kitchen finished at 9 and the staff were gone by 10 so I had no problem sleeping. The Hotel...

We booked a trip to Ireland about a week after Aer Lingus began a fare sale. By the time we got around to taking advantage of the sale and planning our trip, all of the "recommended" (Frommer's, Rick Steves, etc.) hotels and B&Bs had been booked. We reserved a room at the Eyre Square Hotel. I was worried because reviews...

From the extremely warm welcome through to the farewell two days later this place was the friendliest hotel we have stayed in I two months. Room was quite large and loved the simple layout. For the money we paid, the nearby cheap parking and the easy access to everything including a tourist offic next door this place was great.

Arrived at the hotel today. Staff were friendly and gave me my room key. My husband was going fishing so I wanted to go shopping and complete some work. Obviously, he would not be back for some time. Well the room was small and needs a refreshing. Compared to other hotels I would not ever come here again or recommend...

This is a very nice hotel. We were warmly welcomed and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and clean. Fresh towels each day and the linen was changed even though we only stayed four nights. Everything you could want for breakfast and cooked to order. The restaurant in the evening was excellent. A nice...
