Room was comfy, location good for what was needed. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast prepaid but is only for continental, doesn't say this on confirmation. Costs extra €5 at hotel for hot breakfast
I had stayed at the anno santo hotel and while staying here the rooms were very unclean towels not washed very tiny rooms with a very musty smell would not recommend staying here ever. Students from the two schools across the road would come in for lunch and the way staff treated them was outrageous, old man and old lady shouting at them all for doing absolutely nothing. A number of students would be kicked out for no reason at all none aloud to sit down after buying lunch and while queuing in the line if they were even touching the tables they were shouted at and treated with total disrespect. The staff had outrageous behavior and were not helpful towards me at all. I would advise people not to stay here ever.
Excellent all round. We were welcomed and helped to our room. Every effort to accommodate a disability and make us welcome. Super staff and when our friends gathere after breakfast from other hotels they were welcomed with coffee and chairs moved for them. Would return and have spread the news to several. Manageress is terrific at her job.
We had a very nice stay with nice friendly staff who were very helpful. There was a bus stop just outside which took us to and from the centre of Galway and that was fine! The breakfast was just right and the bed was comfy, just right!
We were able to check in early to our room, which was fantastic as it was midday! The staff were friendly during our whole stay. Parking out the front and €10 taxi to Shop Street area/€20 to racecourse. The breakfast buffet consisted of tea/coffee, breads, croissants and pastries, fruit, cereals and juices. They serve toasted sandwiches, wraps and other snacks during the day. The bath/shower is small but fine for one night. Toiletries, towels, hairdryer provided. For €90 for two people during this busy racing week, we were delighted.
