This was the most expensive hotel by quite a stretch during our weeklong tour of Ireland. And on several counts, it did not deliver. First, the good points: The leisure club (guests have complimentary access although you must buy a swimming cap if you don't have one) was lovely. A very nice pool area, sauna and steamroom, and nicely appointed...

We have stayed here quite a few times now with the family and have always had a great experience however this year, the food and service was excellent. Great choice and very high standard on the menu for dinners and staff were very attentive. There were quite a few new faces this year but we were informed that there was...

I stayed here as part of a CIE tour. The rooms were spacious. There is wi fi throughout the hotel although it was a bit spotty in the room at times. In order to use the wi fi service, you must register, provide an email address, then open an email sent to that address to finish the log in process....

The Ardilaun Hotel is well located, close to but not in central Galway, well within walking distance of the fun, but in a quiet, well-to-do neighborhood. And the hotel is attractive and has comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the dining room due to competition from a bus tour, and the lobby and other public areas were overwhelmed by...

I loved the three nights that I stayed at the Ardilaun. I like the comfortable old décor, wool carpets and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in for peace and quiet. Food was great. The bar was one of the friendliest ever and I was looked after like someone who had been going there for 40 years. Thanks Thomas...

Stayed here for one night in July on our CIE tour. It was my favorite hotel of our 8 day tour - wish we had had time to take advantage of some of the amenities such as the pool. The room was large (liked the decor) and clean and the beds comfortable. Liked the "old world' look of the lobby...
