Very enjoyable two night stay in August at Westpoint in Salthill, a busy sea-side area outside of Galway. Very comfortable accomodation with ensuite. Free WiFi. The McGuire's have a beautiful garden in their backyard, a bright touch on a cloudy day. Easy walk to boardwalk along Galway Bay. Welcoming hosts, Mairead and Roy. A very tasty Irish breakfast with fruit,... More

The best of Galway hospitality in a lovely house on the hill overlooking Salthill. My wife and I stayed here some years ago and were delighted to find it as comfortable and pleasant as ever. The McGuires are perfect hosts and make the stay an enjoyable experience.

Ray and his wife were perfect hosts. Loved the room Clean and comfy. 4 of us (two teenage children) and we all got a great night sleep. We stopped at the last minute and got luckey enough to get two rooms across from each other. Friendly breakfast and lots of great information from the hosts. Highly recommend

The B&B is run by a lovely husband and wife team who adore their family and are so pleasant to deal with. we kind of landed on them a little earlier then expected but this was no problem to them and we were whisked off to our beautiful room. Met with a lovely breakfast atmosphere the next morning we were... More

We stayed at the Westpoint B&B on the evening of 7th August, we just called by chance as we were passing and were very pleased to find it was the cheapest in the area that I had seen. We stayed in a double room and it had all you could ask for a comfortable overnight's stay, tea/coffee, en suite, hairdryer,... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights with our family (young children). The place was nice enough & beautifully decorated, but there were a few things that we found that didn't suit us... Stopped here purely on chance. Had originally booked an apartment which turned out not to have any kind of reception so after a long drive had to look for somewhere else to stay. Saw their vacancy sign, asked to see the room for 2 adults/1 child. It was very clean, spacious and had everything you would need for an overnight... More

I think it's the best B&B we stayed in in Ireland. The room was very clean, with wifi, hair dryer, a very large wardrobe(we put all our luggage inside). Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Especially the hosts were so nice, helpful and friendly!(wonderful people!)
