An awful experience from start to finish. We were dealt with very rudely upon arrival, then went up to our pokey room where literally every noise could be heard from next door and we were worried that we'd inadvertently been given a room that had already been given to a family of spiders! A terrible night's sleep in a hostel...

We stayed in Desota a few weeks ago and we are still not over the experience. Initially we thought the rooms were just small but to add insult to injury they were not cleaned. We found a used contraceptive in the bed and as it was too late to find alternative accommodation we spent most of the night awake in...

Straightforward no frills B&B. Great for its class. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The entire B&B is quite small but the rooms are well setup. Bathroom is clean, but quite small, nothing too serious though.Good full Irish breakfast, which is cooked fresh apparently. Really friendly service and great hosts. Great price and excellent value for money. In a...

This is a pretty modest establishment. Thin on ambiance and character. Surroundings rather drab. Despite its proximity to the city centre I would consider it overpriced, especially for low season. My stay - and sleep - were seriously impacted by the intrusive scent of a well-known brand of carpet cleaner in the room. Left with a raw throat and sore...

Yes, the rooms are small. Yes, the bathroom I had was so tiny that it was a miracle of engineering. But it felt like Europe, not a corporate brand. The hosts were kind and gentle and I appreciated that they'd structured breakfast to allow privacy for those who prefer it. The price did seem a bit high (though not extreme)....

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was best when you were totally asleep. It was tiny and hard to walk around the bed to the bathroom if you had two suitcases. The view from the room was out of Dickens. On the good side, the location was a short walk from the center of activity in Galway and...

Great rooms, with very good beds. The showers are amazing. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is very good. Ideal B&B for us. The rooms are spacious. Great on site parking. An ideal place to stay in Galway. Price is well worth it. Next time we will visit this place again.

Nice well located rooms, we stayed there two couples, in the evening we went to a local bar to hang out and hear local music that was wonderful, and in the morning there was served a fresh tasty and generous breakfast and friendly team. The house is on a somewhat busy street

This is a very straightforward 10 bedroom B&B with nothing exceptional to be said about it. The location is good 10/15 minutes walk to Galway city centre. The rooms are large enough and the breakfast adequate. The cost is very excessive for a B&B and what you get. The best features are the location and the free on site parking....

This B&B was very easy to find and had a direct walk into town, only 5 min walk. The room was huge and beautiful but was at the front of the house on a busy main road. I would recommend you book into the 1st floor at the back of the house. Groundfloor was also noisy in the mornin because...
