I planned a weekend at Ross Castle for my sister's hen party and everyone was so impressed with the place. We had 17 staying for two nights in The Park and it was perfect. Lovely big dining table in the kitchen and multiple sitting rooms which were perfect for hanging out for activities such as a dance class which we...

The overall experience was tremendous. The staff is great - very friendly. The property is stereotypically Irish. From the drive into the property, the courtyard, gardens and views of the gently sloping property overlooking Ross Lake, every where you look, you are drawn into the ancient history of Ross Castle and the surrounding area. The nearby towns, with groceries, pubs,...

Beautifully landscaped secluded lake front acreage. Modern conveniences and on suite baths blended with old world charm. This is the perfect place for a destination wedding, group vacation or presidential retreat.

This is a place you drive up to and say "wow" - and it is amazing. Our family, all 22 of us, including 9 children stayed for a weekend recently for a "special birthday" celebration. We were greeted by the owner who was charming and extremely helpful and hospitable. All we had to do was ask for anything. The service...

The estate is located near Galway City, yet far enough away to relax and enjoy the peace and beauty of Galway County. The McLaughlin Family, who own and manage the estate, were very gracious and anxious to meet all of our...

Looking for a peaceful break away well here it is. Situation is breathtaking, surrounded by long forest walks, feeding swans on the lake, playing tennis, going for a swim or just chilling reading a book, here is the place. Apartments fantastic, spotless and so spacious. We had a child with us and they accommodated him as if we were at home....

Rented Ross Castle to house our wedding guests and could not have dreamed up a better scenario. Between the tennis courts, billiards table, and ping pong to the impeccable gardens, architecture, and furnishings -- the stay was straight out of a fairytale. The televisions and cellphones stayed off the entire stay due to the castle offering such an enchanting atmosphere...

From the moment we arrived we had a great time and were continually impressed. There was a total of 16 of us and we all had our own rooms and plenty of space. Both the hosts and the entire staff were a joy to be around. They were always there when you needed them and were out of the way...
