I stayed for 2 nights.. and what I paid was not cheap. The photos looked great but the reality was disappointing. The female staff at reception were helpful.. This place was described as a family run hotel.. so I expected a cosy non-corporate feel. However there was not personal touch at all. Nothing family or cosy about this place. I...

Dear Erum S. Thank you for taking the time to write your review about you recent stay with us. We are deeply saddened by your thoughts of your stay. We are very much a family run hotel, with myself, my brother and mother all working here each day. In recent times we have had a fire at our adjoining restaurant,...

I recently stayed for 2 nights in the Kingfisher Townhouse in Dublin, Ireland. It was very clean, centrally located, and the people were very nice. I would stay there again, if it weren't for the expensive price tag. We stayed 2 nights and paid around $550. Granted this was around St. Patrick's day, I still didn't think the room was...

Stayed here one night in February to watch the superbowl! Comfortable room not very luxurious but cosy, nice breakfast and good location! Staff where friendly and more than willing to help! Definitely worth the money and would stay again.

Earlier in the month we spent a week in Dublin at the Kingfisher Townhouse, and in spite of early trepidations it was a great find. Upon arrival we were told that because of fire in an adjoining building we were being transferred to another of their properties about 3 blocks away. The property was excellent! A good size apartment with...

Booking online for this place was a great deal for cost. Just remember though, sometimes you get what you are paying for and if you're just looking for a basic room that is clean, with a TV and free WiFi, this will do. It's about a five minute walk from the bus stop, if you're coming in from the airport....

The Kingfisher is a small hotel that is right in keeping with Dublin. It's not luxury but the room (we had Room 1) are comfortable and super clean. The location is slightly confused by construction on Parnell but otherwise perfect. Well away from noise, it's nonetheless handy to O'Connel Street, shopping and has a a nice street market. The associated...

Stayed in the triple room which was clean, warm but small We did not find the room noisy due to the road but we did keep the double glazed window shut. The power shower was fine with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good at the restaurant next door. The service was good and friendly. Overall, a basic guesthouse in...

Recently stayed at Kingfisher hostal (I cannot consider it as an hotel) attracted by the scoring and good comments from TripAdvisor. This was my first error. It is a set of small (really small) rooms in a building on top of the Kingfisher Restaurant with narrow, dark and stepped and dangerous stairs. The dark age of metallic keys with huge...

Located about 10-15 mins walk to Temple Bar. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff, 24 hour manned front desk. Quiet, clean rooms (with the earplugs provided in case there is noise). Cafe next door and a chippy the other side - no adverse effects from being near either. Only downside was the hot water ran out one morning, other than that...

The kingfisher is a 15 - 25 min walk of pretty much everything in the city that might peak your interest. Its a good central location of the city. The rooms were very clean and updated, bathrooms were great! Its a good value in the city center compared to most other place that will run 20 - 50 euros more...
