The Maples Hotel has recently been taken over by new management. Eleven of us had dinner there on Monday evening (two children included). The food was exceptional. We had originally booked the hotel's function room for an event, but due to unforeseen family circumstances, we had to cancel on the actual day. The new management (Alan and his partner) returned...

In a lovely location, very quite and with lovely staff. We only stayed the one night, the rooms where more modern than I expected when I walked in and the beds where comfy. The only thing that put me off was the parking, they only have on road parking and it was pay and display, other than that I would...

This is a fairly average 3 star hotel with nothing too good or bad to say about it? The bar is ok and the food actually not bad. It is an easy 10 Euro taxi ride from the centre and affords easy access to anything north of Dublin. The hotel lacks a lift and the corridors and stairs are fairly...

The rooms are very small and the bathroom had a horrible smell. Stained curtains, carpets and walls. Looked tired and grubby! 40 min walk to centre of Dublin but is on the main bus route. Staff were not that helpful (confusing at times) and the manager very abrupt in her manner when dealing with issues. Breakfast was ok but again...

Booked the maples for a double room for €69 the room and bathroom were small but just what to expect from a house hotel in a busy and small city, Check in was so smooth and easy and the two girls on the desk were more than helpful! Food was just what we needed before we headed out and to...

Attended a family function last Saturday, had a great time, seldom have I ever encountered such a great team. The staff in the Maples are second to none, from the reception to the best barman in Dublin the waiting staff and even the ladies who cleaned the rooms on Sunday morning. Also the place was clean, the food was top...
