I have eaten at this pub on three different visits to Ireland. The food is always delicious and plentiful. Steak and Guinness Pie is to die for! Staff are friendly. Love the sense of humour with the half chair near the cash.

The hotel is not one to spend any time in, several nights. The rooms are VERY small and can get very warm. Access is via a tiny elevator that only holds two people and two suitcases. It does have a good location for downtown Dublin. But, won't stay there again. The pub and restaurant are ok.

In the past two days I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here...all of which were of excellent quality and reasonably priced.....food was served with smile and staff were very attentive... Live music from 9ish every night....which was great fun...even more so if you're able to get a seat...drinks are expensive but not as much as temple bar.....( for which you need...

Traditional looking Irish Bar, good evening meal and excellent Full Irish breakfast. Rooms not quite as photos on site, but clean and comfortable ironing board but couldn't find an iron! Easy to find from bus station and Connelly Rail station.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel room was clean, quaint and comfortable. The location is great, it's a short walk to the city center and close to a lot of good restaurants and bars. There is an underground parking garage at this location as well.

Big portion for roast beef. Friendly service. Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced, veg basic enough but meat and potatoes great value, roast lamb seems to be off menu last couple of visits. Great fish and chips are top quality

Went into the restaurant for a meal & drink. The drink was quick, however, the food service was poor. 35 to 40 minutes wait for the food and was told The Chef forgot our order???????? When we complained, we were told there was a lot of people ordering food, however, a free drink was given to us on our suggestion.

Only stopping for lunch, our very first meal in Ireland & for me it had to be the beef & Guinness pie which was excellent. The Roast beef was delicious & plentiful. Quantity & service were excellent. Love the decor which resembled a front room - which of course it was.

On our first night we decided to eat here as it was just down the road from our hostel. The food was beautiful and not to expensive, I would eat here everyday if I could. The decor is stunning and not what you expect from the outside.

Well, we can't speak to the quality of the hotel but the bar is OUTSTANDING!!! Specifically, ask for Tony, the bartender. We went there 4 times in 3 days.....because of Tony! He was born to be an Irish bartender. Friendly, funny, and fantastic! Everything a bartender should be! There is even a chance he will teach you how to pour...
