This cheap and cheerful hotel is just about as central as you could imagine on Parnell Street. My room was compact yes, but tidy, clean, reasonably priced are only the aesthetics that surround my business excursion. The staff were impeccable at all times and at any request they were always willing to help and/or willing to find an alternative solution....

This hotel is in a very good location and has its own bars and nightclubs attached to it by a common courtyard . We stayed in room 302 on top floor and found the room to be in good order ( slightly rough around the trimmings but fine ) ... the staff are this hotels main benefit as they are...

I stayed at Gate hotel on a Saturday night in April. It wasn't any significant date but the cost was still €145 which for this money I expected a certain standard, however I was let down. The room was small, very little natural light and the floor very uneven. To the point of stumbling around the room serval times. There...

Myself and 2 friends had 2 rooms booked here (NON REFUNDABLE through Booking.com) for 24th March as we were attending the Ireland v Wales match that night. We were travelling from Sligo by train, and that morning Irish Rail refused to cross the picket line and we were unable to get there. We knew we had NON REFUNDABLE rooms but...

Room was directly above a rock club - the whole room was vibrating with bass. 'noise' doesn't even come close to describing it, Noiser that a jet engine would be unfair to the jet engine. It was unbearable to be in the room, it was after 3am before the room was usable. I met the owner, Anne-Marie, the next morning...

We stayed here for the weekend and admit I didn't think to look on here at the reviews, if I had, I wouldn't have booked it because this place is disgusting and I can't believe some people have rated it as a nice place. This is not the case. When I booked it the photos looked rather pleasant but it...

We have just stayed at this hotel for my friends stag do and found it more than adequate. The rooms were basic but clean and a good size. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Julie on the main desk. Breakfast included and was very nice and much better than some bigger hotel chains that I've stayed at....

Stayed here as part of a stag do party, very clean room, couldn't fault the breakfast or the staff which were really welcoming. Three bars located within the hotel grounds. Rooms are quite old looking but adequate enough for us. Would definitely stay here again but probably ask for a room on the rear. Read reviews before I came about...
