We stayed at Egans for four nights including New Year's eve. We found all the staff and the Manager to be very friendly and willing to help. They knew all relevant details about public transport in the city. We chose the hotel because we wanted to be conveniently located for the city but wanted to avoid the inevitable noise at...

Four of us stayed at Egans for one night on December 15th as we were over for the Tottenham match with Shamrock Rovers. The room was big enough with very comfortable beds. Prior to the trip I had emailed Egans asking for various information which they responded quickly to and were very helpful. On the morning of departure we had...

Stayed there recently. The room was cramped. There was a smell like dirty socks smell around entrance area to the room. The room smelled as if somebody had just used the toilet. The room was not well insulated i.e. you could hear the conversations in the adjacent room and noise when other toilets flushed. The room was very cramped and...

This complaint barlery justify a reply for three reasons. 1. You stayed for two days and did not complain once to reception about anything. If you had done so, we could have offered you a change of room or even a full refund. 2. You could have asked to cancel the second day and we would have been happy to...

Egans house was truly a home away from home. As a family of two adults and four children it's often difficult to find appropriate accommodation. Here we were all able to sleep in the same room, it was spacious and very comfortable. There was a lovely seating area down stairs with tv, board games, tea/coffee machine, internet access, where we...

We stayed in this establishment twice recently and quite honestly were very disappointed overall. The first night of our stay was the 24th. Oct, we checked-in mid-afternoon and noted the room was very small but adequate. We appreciate that the extreme weather caused an overnight power-cut with the result that we were unable to use the shower the following morning,...

We are sorry that you had a bad time here and I apologise. The electrical power-cut was obviously due to the severe storm the previous night which caused widespread power cuts across the country. I was therefore totally pre-occupied with trying to resolve this for most of that day. I presumed incorrectly that because only 4 rooms were affected that...

Egans House is an excellent guesthouse with a congenial atmosphere, situated in a quiet area, only a 30 or 40 minutes footwalk away from the crowded and colorful centre of Dublin, just a stone´s throw away from historic Glasnevin Cemetery or famous Botanic Gardens or Drumcondra Station, easily to be reached from Dublin Airport. We stayed there twice, had clean...

A quiet, perfectly situated hotel with friendly staff and lovely rooms. The breakfasts were fantastic. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere close to the city centre without the noise and business that you'll find in the centre of Dublin. Can't recommend Egans enough, thank you for a great stay.

We, a family of 5 stayed here when stopping through Dublin. Our room was right up the top with 5 of us in the room, but we still had enough room! Our hot water didn't work, and we were given another key to another room to use the shower anytime plus 2 bottles of wine as an apology! Also, we...

We stayed at Egans house twice on our visit to Ireland. The first room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable, but the second room was massive. Breakfast was excellent both visits and we are happy to recommend this establishment to everyone. Liz
