We are sorry that you had a bad experience. Our staff are strictly not allowed to use their mobile phones except to text other staff members re rosters etc, if they cannot get them on the landline. The receptionist was most likely doing this or...More

Walking into the city centre takes about 20 Minutes. Not sure how much a taxi would cost.

As of June 2017, they made me pay 7 euros to park (in cash) on arrival.

I think the City Centre Hotels like Jury's Inn may be a better option to be honest at that time of year for the sake of a few euros per person and you are at the centre of things whereas Egans is a bus ride away
