Location: hotel is located in central area of Dublin - most of must-see objects are within walking distance (5-15 minutes). Price: price is very cheap, keeping in mind the location. We paid around £60 for two nights for two of us in double bed room. Staff: staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms: rooms looked nice and OK maintained -...

Hello fellow travellers, I stayed at Lynams Hotel for my hen weekend on 10/05/2013-12/05/2013. My stay is what i can only describe as one big let down, from the welcome I and my party received to the rooms we had. When we arrived we were told 3 of our twin rooms were unavailable. Dirty, vile and badly ran! Stayed here with a friend over the weekend. Both rooms were filthy. Ill fitting bed sheets, disgusting bathroom. My shower was pathetic, really hot scalding water. I couldn't have stayed in for more than 2 mins as the shower base began to flood! Bringing up dirty black water!! DISGUSTING! On the first evening my friend...

Tiny, tiny rooms, beds, bathrooms, towels, everything. The shower curtain was covered with black mold!!!! Noisy, but that comes with being in the heart of the city. The "sitting room" is a jumble of old cast off furniture and stocked with pamphlets of attractions no longer in business. The smell of the restaurant next door was overpowering. Money may be...
