The staff was extremely helpful; this was our first trip to Ireland and we were a little overwhelmed. The rooms were comfortable, complete with tea and biscuits. The only thing that could have made it better was the shower faucet. We could not adjust it so showers were burning hot. Also, it was hard to sleep Thursday and Friday night...

Ideal location in the heart of Dublin, in the hustle and bustle of the lively Exchequer St/George St. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Reception was warm and friendly and would def stay again for a night on the town.

My parents had stayed here before, but it was actually my first time. I found it great: the rates are very reasonable for someplace so charming. The location is perfect, stand at the front door and you have Grafton Street to your left, with Templebar behind you. The interior - such as the furniture in the room - was lovely...

I've stayed in this hotel many times over the past 5 years. Being honest, there is a lot wrong with this hotel but for my money, there's more right with it than wrong. Pros: Its location is second to none in the heart of my favourite part of Dublin city centre. It is very reasonably priced - especially considering its...

This hotel is an old hotel and the floors creak, however, it is a part of old Dublin and quirky. Ideal location near Grafton St, central for shops, restaurants, pubs, theatre etc., you can't go wrong really. Didn't hear any noise but then again we were partying 'til late ourselves. Good value.

My three adult daughters and I spent one night at the Central Hotel last September (Arthurs Day, 2013). We had two rooms on different floors and areas of the hotel. Thanks to the reviews here on TA, I had an accurate idea of the pros and cons of the hotel when I chose it for our first night in Dublin....

The Hotel is great because of its perfect location. It's close to everything, really clean and I paid a low price. The staff was not particularly outgoing, but they were helpful when needed. The beds were very comfortable. The room was warm. The furniture is old but decent. As I had been told, the street outside is quite noisy, because...

This was my second time staying here, rooms are nice if a little old fashioned but they seem to have the hearing on full and as it is in the centre of Dublin opening windows is only possible for the heaviest sleepers. Once the revellers have all gone home , the trucks and vans delivering to nearby shops start and...

All in all a good hotel with a great location at a relatively low price. However, rooms are small and some appliances didn't work either. However, this place was ideal for a group weekend in Dublin when just used for somewhere to sleep. Staff were helpful and friendly... I'd go back but not somewhere I would go on a couple...

We had booked a twin room and were delighted to be allocated a spacious room containing a double and 2 single beds. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean. As we expected the room was noisy at night due to its excellent location. Why oh why do they not just install doubl-glazing? We decided to take breakfast but...
