Just came back from my first time in Dublin, and you know what people say... The first time always hurts! But well… This time, the Blackstone, and its atmosphere, have blown completely down this myth! Kate and William… Thanks! Thank you very much for your welcome and suggestions! As soon as my girlfriend and I got into the place, after...

Not a bad b&b for location and price - However, we found the owners very unwelcoming unless you are from America. They lacked the very basics of people skills. Information regarding checking out times and where / when breakfast was served had to be dragged out of them. Not a single word of thanks from them when we paid and...

My daughter and I spent three nights at the Blackstone and both thought it was terrific. The room (basement, front of the house) was beautiful and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view out the front window was very pretty. The whole house was lovely and furnished with an eclectic mix of furniture. Most important (especially after a bad hotel...

Never having been to Dublin before it was difficult to know where to stay. We wanted somewhere 'Budget' in a reasonable location, not too far from the city. There are a few great pubs and restaurants in Rathmines, shops etc. Blackstone House in Rathmines is a few minutes walk to the pubs etc and the bus stop, then it's approx....

I chose this B&B based on ratings and was shocked when I arrived. The room was absolutely hideous. The walls were bubblegum pink. The fireplace was black with pink trim. All the furnishings were odds and ends. All repairs and "remoldeling" in the building and rooms were botched. The bathroom was the worse. It looked as if someone took some...

Seven family members stayed at the Blackstone B&B during March 2006. We occupied three rooms downstairs and one room upstairs. The proprietors, Kate & William, were very helpful and friendly. Our family would wake early and head for the hearty breakfast that was served every morning. The coffee was great, the eggs were cooked to order, and the rest of...

Loved it there, the owners were more than helpful and the room was really nice. Easy to get around Dublin from there, and a laundry was right nearby , as well as some great fish and chips, Indain restaurants and that cool Eddie Rockets diner.

The Blackstone House B&B is a great place to stay while in Dublin. It is very clean, and the owners are very accomodating. They also make a lovely breakfast which is included in the very reasonable price. It is located in Rathmines, very close to a bus stop and a taxi rank that can take you directly into the city...

The proprietor of Blackstone House gave us a very warm welcome,he was very helpful in supplying us with local information, from where to catch the bus into town, to good places to eat & drink! etc. The room was decorated in keeping with the period of the house and was very comfortable with a good size, clean en-suite bathroom. The breakfast...
