My wife and I were just here for our honeymoon. It's our first vacation anywhere. I picked out 3 hotels across Ireland. I was most excited to stay here because.... well...... Castle reasons. It's right in the name! When we first arrived I was in awe. This place looked amazing! The inside is just as impressive. Very modern and clean....

I would absolutely highly recommend afternoon tea. It was by far the best experience I have had with afternoon tea. And I stress experience. I have been to a few hotels offering this where I have been given a few sandwiches and sweet treats. Nothing I couldn't have done up myself. In Clontarf Castle it was just beautiful. From the...

Went for the "Fusion tea" in Clontarf Castle Hotel on Saturday afternoon with 2 friends, which was an absolutely fabulous experience. Started off with a glass of prosecco and tea selection where Manager Cormac introduced the teas explaining the origins and benefits of each which was very interesting. We all selected our favourite, which then was served in elegant glass...

This hotel is nether modern, nor old&charming. The modern elements of the decoration spoil the castle charm. The WiFi broke down on me several times, was not very fast and required me to login again the next morning (without any warning or info). They should really have a talk with their IT. Food in the restaurant is expensive and not...

Last day of our trip. Close enough to airport. It's actually a castle. The bar has great food. The ambience is James Bond style castle accommodations. The rooms are super posh. The mattresses will break your heart the next day when you need to get up. So comfy. If you can stay there you should.

So glad we stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Dublin! The atmosphere is stunning, taking you back in time but the modern rooms were beautifully decorated and had very comfortable beds.
