While on a Gate 1 tour of Ireland we stayed at Mespil Hotel 2 nights at the start of the tour and the last night of the tour. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was extremely good. All of the staff were extremely friendly even printed my boarding passesbefore leaving. About a 15 to 20 min walk to St. Stephens Park...

My first experience in Ireland was staying at this hotel. The staff was very courteous and organized in handling large tour groups. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Their bar was pleasant to visit and see other people from my tour group.

I stayed here with a colleague for three nights. Our room was comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room to work, windows that actually opened - which we did because the weather was so gorgeous. Nice neighborhood. We walked to our destinations. One thing that we did not know was that Ireland has...

Our room on 5th floor was not enormous but it was big enough, comfortable bed, lovely walk-in shower, and it was clean and well-equipped. It had lovely views out over the city and the canal. It's a great location for local eateries and bars, as well as being just a short stroll to the city centre. The amorous pigeons on...

Stayed here 2 nights. Good location and surroundings, close to much. Nice bar, but the restaurant can improve. Probably why we only where 4 there. Had duck, over-cooked and potatoe-fondant tasting old. Fair pricing of hotel and nice people. Stay there is ok, but eat elsewhere

Great hotel, lovely staff, really nice breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfy and business casual. The bed was super comfy and the hotel was an easy walking distance into the main parts of the city, like temple bar are. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located near St. Stephens Green. Rooms are big for European standards. More like what we enjoy in North America. Bathroom had lots of room and showers were great. Dining room is big and spacious. Wake up call was a knock on the door which could be missed if you were a heavy sleeper.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was: the rooms were very spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff are lovely and the location was terrific. Highly recommend this hotel! It's a bit confusing, having to go up and down the stairs to get from one part of the hotel to the other, but once we learned the route, it was...

Fantastic stay in Dublin and would recommend the Mespil Hotel. Enjoyed our double aspect room, Any niggles were small (tired sofa, TV reception a little indeterminate and lights a little too energy saving) with the room both clean and comfortable. Breakfast is over priced (we used the pastry shop a few doors along after the first day, which is so...
