This place was a surprise, I expected a small room and wasn't disappointed, I also expected a less than stellar cleanliness and was nicely surprised! The room I had was clean and tidy when I arrived and the bathroom was immaculate, the overall feel is old but comfortably old, not yucky old. My room looked over the courtyard, I didn't... More

Myself and my friend were going to a show on the gaiety theatre so the townhouse was a perfect location, it took is 15-20 mins to walk to our venu from the hotel . The room was clean and the beds were comfortable . The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was tasty . The only Negative thing was... More

The Townhouse is certainly quirky but has the advantage of being only a few minutes walk from the city centre in Dublin. Every room is different, we've stopped there twice and had one room that was modern and all wood, and another very traditional room with lots of soft furnishings. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast (though you might... Our room was right above a noisy pub that didn't close until rather late. While the pub itself was fun and had good food I did not appreciate it when we were trying to sleep. The room itself was a bit shabby. Location-wise getting getting to anywhere of interest took at least 10 minutes. Also the area was not one... More

The Townhouse is a quirky, old- school hotel that is 10 minute walk from the main city centre in Dublin. It might not appeal to everyone's taste but we enjoyed the old painted portraits, relaxation area, and how each room was given a name (ours was Goethe Society). The welcome pack in the room gave us a great step-by-step guide... More

The Townhouse was our first stay in Ireland, and it has been wonderful. Excellent service, good food, good wifi and good value for money. Would definitely recommend to travelers from other countries. Reception was very helpful with recommending places to visit. Shame we couldn't stay longer :)

Must be one of the most usefully located hotels in Dublin close to Connolly Station, Bus Aras and the Luas. Easy walking distance to O'Connell Street, Trinity, Grafton Street , Temple Bar and the Liffey etc. Our room was spotless and our breakfast was included in the reasonable price. It was so helpful for us to be able to leave our...
