This place is literally in the heart of temple bar & 1 minute walk from all the pubs & bars. The reception kindly saved our bags as we arrived early & the late check out of 12 noon gave us a well needed lie in!!

Just returned from a two night short break at the River House Hotel. Can't complain at all. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We asked in advance for a room in a quiet position and that is what we were given. 3rd floor to the rear of the building. The room was a little small, and in need of some...

First off, the staff was beyond rude. When we arrived back to our room after a day out, we found our room was left unlocked by the cleaner. The room has been re made so we knew the cleaner was the last in there and it wasn't just our error.,, but when I approached the reception, he said it must...

Can't really complain apart from the bed in the shared room was like sleeping on the floor. You really do get what you paid for. Dublin is expensive and we were on a hen do so wasn't really in the hotel for long. We stayed for 2 nights, both times was drunk when we got back so the music from...

Myself and 3 friends have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment/annex which was situated around the back of the building and accessed via a separate entrance. After reading all the other reviews after booking myself and friends were extremely apprehensive about staying here as all the reviews sounded terrible....

Just got back from 2 days at the horror of a hotel , broken beds , absolutely filthy , windows so dirty couldn't see out of them !!! Really disappointing , only saving grace is the location , needs a bomb spending on it and recommend new cleaners !

Dirty carpets electric sockets broken and...

Went away on a trip with friends for a weekend away , we stayed Fri-Mon. Cost was £113 each. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms. The lift was out of service and we had to walk up about 8 flights of stairs (not one member of staff offered to help us with our cases) . On entering...

Having travelled the world and stayed in all level of accommodation. I would have to say that the River House Hotel is one of the worst. After hiking up 4 flights of stairs to the Attic room we were allocated, it didn't get any better. The room was dated and dirty and i didn't dare use the shower as it...

The most unacceptable accommodation, because it can't be characterised as hotel, I have ever stayed. Dirty from the sheets to the bathroom (where the mold was up to the ceiling). The beds crackling and generally all furniture was as old as the Dublin. Minimum hot water and the wi-fi only caught near the door and was up and down all...
