We had a 6 bed dorm between a group of friends. Rooms were quite small but pillows and beds comfortable. They need to sort out the smell coming from the soil pipes. Breakfast was included and is your standard cereal and toast etc. Location is exactly what you want, close to all iconic landmarks.

A great hostel in the heart of Temple Bar! We had an eight bed en suite dorm, just what we needed! 25 euro a night each, bargain! A clean, safe pad to set up base and hit the bars in Dublin. Staff were excellent! Didn't have the breakfast but it was there if needed. It's a lively spot, so avoid...

Totally recommended. Location, staff, rooms. Best Hostel we stayed in . An overall excellent experience and I can recommend it highly. We will come back for our next trip. Great that the rooms are en suite, and some breakfast in the morning.

Barnacles is in the very center of the Temple Bar neighborhood. If it's your first time in Dublin, you can't beat the location! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the beds are quite comfortable. You can't go wrong with Barnacles!

Excellent experience but elevators should be there to carry heavy stuff for top floors and I really liked all the rooms ensuite with red carpet and red duet. So I must recommended to everyone and one more thing I liked except reception staff when the house keeping girl said Good morning when ahe entered into the room..she made me day..only...

I failed to see why we paid extra for the twin room which was really small and we were no better off than a dorm ? The small area and minimum headroom due to sloping roof need to be advised at time of booking

Great location; super central. Good security. Mosy of the staff were helpful staff and cheery. Lovely kitchen and common room. Wonderful coffee. I'd recommend a stay for anyone wanting to be in the centre of Dublin.

This time, I got the room I ordered and was very satisfied. Other guests were amicable and even the atmosphere at breakfast was friendly. Since the hostel is located so centrally, it's very convenient to return and have a rest and leave for another round of "cultural impact". There's only good information to spread out. Thanks!

Great hostel. Well kept and looked after. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good selection. Had great nights sleep. Free ear plugs if you need them. Good prices. Good central location walking distance of most things in Dublin. Discounted bar crawl on Tuesdays! Great evening.

Obviously, Templebar on a Saturday night was going to be a busy spot so the constant chatter until the small hours wasn't terribly surprising. My subsequent blissful slumber was shattered by a bin lorry collecting rubbish at some ungodly hour though. Also one or two hostel guests tried our dorm door at various points during the night but that was...
