I stayed 5 nights in the Clifden Guesthouse. I had a 2nd floor apartment with 2 bedrooms and living room. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was pretty ok, and wifi worked. Both bedrooms were facing to the street. There was all night truck traffic and drunk people yelling on the street. Because the windows did not have any soundproofing...

Dear Eerola, Thank you for taking the time to leave us some much appreciated feedback. We are thrilled that your apartment was clean and sufficient for your needs. I was sorry to read that you experienced some street noise and noisy neighbours, A little street noise is to be expected so close to the city but had we known about...

This guest house is set in an old terrace home with the rooms done with reasonable taste. The room we had was huge but with the smallest shower recess I've ever seen. If you want reasonable priced accommodation within easy walking distance to Dublin plus with secure car parking, this is the place. It is basic but clean and comfortable.

Myself and 4 friends stayed here from Friday to Monday for a birthday weekend in Dublin. We were surprised to be shown into a 4 bedroom apartment when we had booked an apartment with two doubles and a single but we weren't complaining! There were 3 single bedrooms and a double bedroom all a reasonable size with plenty of mirrors...

Dublin is a very popular place right now and finding something that is close to the center of Dublin can be a challenge. We found Clifden Guest House a little late after a long unfruitful search. The rooms are very small, the bathrooms are smaller still and there is nothing fancy or extra about the place. However, the bed was...

My husband and I recently stayed in an Apartment at the Clifden Guest House in Dublin. We had an apartment across the way from the Guest House and overall it was OK. It can be noisy in the building depending on your neighbors. Our upstairs neighbors loved walking around loudly at 2:00 AM. That's the risk you take in an...

Very disappointed ! The room we were given should not be used as a guest room. It is situated on the ground floor next to a busy main road and directly opposite the reception desk by the front door entrance. The room (9) was comfortable and enough room to accommodate two people. It was at the very top of the building (with some other rooms) that made it a bit hard to reach when carrying luggage.
