Had to book this hotel as booking canceled another reservation and told me to book there. Checked in at 9pm in an apartment on the ground floor. Bedroom windows on the street side very noisy and you could feel the wind coming in. All the windows had been left opened. It was 12 degrees in the apartment and neither us...

We stayed at Clifden 2 weeks ago for 1 night. We were booked in quickly and shown to our apartment. It was spotlessly clean, well-equpped, warm and comfortable. We walked into O'Connell St. in less than 10 mins. and had no problems getting the bus to the airport before 6am next morning. It was a very pleasant stay, close to...

Hi ddd2016, Many thanks for taking the time to review the Clifden House. I am delighted to hear that you had a swift check-in upon arrival. I am also glad to hear that you were very happy with the apartment. We do get a lot of praise for our close location to the centre of Dublin so thank you for...

I booked a one bedroom apartment with sofa bed in living room. This was for myself and a colleague as we were looking for an economical way to book 2 rooms. This was much cheaper than booking 2 hotel rooms in Dublin!! We were really pleasantly surprised by the property. It was well appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean! We would...

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband and baby. We were allocated room 16 on the ground floor. Positives: huge room, tea & coffee making facilities, powerful shower, large comfy bed, decent breakfast (I stuck to continental), friendly staff. Negatives: Quite noisy as opposite reception (but I imagine most hotels in Dublin are noisy!), rooms a bit tired with some...

Lets get the review into perspective it is not the usual business standard hotel Ii stay in so will not judge it as such. This is a budget hotel / B&B. Good point - Reception staff all very helpful...

It is with real regret that I chose Clifden guesthouse on Gardiner Place in Dublin for a last minute stay over in Dublin City centre to attend a Bad Co gig at the 3 Arena on 14th Oct '16. What an absolute hugely over priced dump of a hotel in a very dodgy part of town. A complete ramshackle property...

We spend 3 nights in the hotel. Staff was really nice abd helpful BUT the room wasnt clean when we checked in and in the next day the we came back to find the room unlocked (nothing was missing). Plus the bed was leaning down on one side which made for an unpleasant sleep. The hotel location is ok, about...

Company booked the room for me - two night stay. The worst "hotel" I have ever been to and only reason. It is overpriced (200EUR/night), room have to smallest shower booth I have ever seen and you'll barely fit in. Breakfast was late the first day and on the second day it took about twenty minutes before someone from kitchen...

Not located in the nicest part of Dublin. The accommodation was clean and everything adequate. Stupidly only on set of keys giving to the occupants and no option for another set when renting an apartment. Really inconvenient when travelling with two couples who want to do their own thing on certain days. Complained to management and emailed no response. Don't...

Stayed here for three nights at the beginning of September with a group of friends. Very very disappointed with the room .I had a single room which had no wardrobe but two coat hangers on a rail above the tea and coffee condiments. The bed was not even on a proper base but built on some ply wood? The shower...
