We had a large room at the back of the hotel for 3 nights. It was a nice, clean room and was very quiet. Continental breakfast didn't include hot food, but was great with fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, cheeses, yogurt, juices. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. Only thing negative was that it was hot in...

We stayed here with 27 friends! The guest house is perfectly situated for an easy walk into the busy and very lively town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Its a beautiful Georgian building. The bedroom we stayed in was very clean but quite tired. Continental breakfast was included and there was plenty of it. Being a coeliac I...

We stayed at Albany House for two nights and Una at front desk and kitchen staff were great. Hotel is old but rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Just one block south of St Stephen's Green, the location is great for walking the city. We were given room in back and on top floor, so we got our exercise....

We had a room facing the street and it was difficult to get a good nights sleep because Dubliners really like to party until the wee hours of the morning - like until 4 or 5 am!! Harcourt at 4 am is like most city streets at noon! People walking up and down the street talking loudly and yelling back...

A perfectly adequate place for a short stay in Dublin. The central location is a big bonus despite the understandable city centre noise. Sadly, the beautiful old houses are only pale shadows of their former glory and feel slightly neglected. The bedrooms are small but clean and the bathrooms have been recently renovated to a high standard. The only major...

Stayed here as we went to paloma faith concert in the Iveagh Gardens during the summer. Lovely hotel staff and great location. Only complaint was that the room was too hot. We had great weather and there was no ventilation in the room. Had to leave the window open but the luas ran past most of the night. Not a...

Three Georgian houses, turned into a guest house. No lift. Very friendly staff. Smaller rooms are rather expensive for what they offer and the size does not really qualify as a double room. Breakfast is served from 7.30 AM which means it is not really suited for business travellers who wish to make an early start. Across from the street...

My husband, son and I stayed here for a couple of nights and in terms of value for money in Dublin I think it's a great option. There is a bit of noise from the trams along the road it sits on, and it is a bit rundown, but the staff and included breakfast were fantastic. Location was spot on,...

My partner arrived at Albany House after a long haul flight from Australia and we were immediately impressed with the location and the communal areas. The reception staff were helpful and the free wifi was fast. Our room was on the ground floor and was probably a little drab compared to some of the other pictures I have seen on...

Loved the location - very close to city centre and Stephen's Green. Walking distance to many attractions. Staff very accommodating and rooms were clean. Stayed in front rooms by a busy street but slept well due to good quality windows. Reasonable $ with excellent continental breakfast.
