After reading other reviews, I was very surprised. Booked to stay one night after a concert in a private room with an ensuite shower. The place was clean, staff were helpful and in a great place for quick access to city centre.

After reading reviews on here, i feared the worst. What a nice surprise. We had a private room and it was clean, the private bathroom was also very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would most definitely stay here again.

A big group of friends and I stayed over the weekend, and after reading reviews, I was a little apprehensive to say the least! Well we rocked up, the receptionist was very smiley and friendly, the room was fine, all the beds were ok, and the noise from trains were really not too bad, easily solved with some cheap earplugs....

Please, PLEASE do not stay in this hostel! This is hell on earth. The bathroom is way worse than the inside of a sick horse. And i have even seen the inside of a sick horse. Parts of the walls were collapsing on my naked body. I was naked because my clothes were too polluted to wear. The only good...

NO WONDER THIS HOSTEL HAS A NO REFUND SIGN AT RECEPTION. I've just got back from 19 months travelling SE Asia and Australia and can honestly say this is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. How they can charge money to stay in this sh***ole I'll never understand. Firstly, the staff are all rude. Secondly, the...

Claims to have wifi but it doesn't work. Some Windows don't have curtains. My bed wasn't ready till 4pm Room was disgusting and I'd say it's not seem a brush and a mop in some time. The kitchen is disgusting. No atmosphere at all in the hostel. Seems like it's been cheaply renovated to a poor standard. The people that...

I was worried when I saw the photos. I had a pleasant nights stay here in peak season for 30 euros. It's in a good location with all the facilities you need. I would certainly stay here again . The airport bus stop is near by too

My friend booked us in for a 4 day trip to Dublin. I was worried reading some of these reviews. I've never stopped in a hostel before, always been in a hotel. My mate has stopped in over 20 countries in hostels, for the prices, so I took his word. Excellent staff on the 24 hour desk, could not fault...

We stayed just 3 nights from 26th May booking late on and this weekend Dublin was very busy and any accommodation hard to find so ended up booking a private room at the Citi Backpackers Hostel despite some poor reviews. On the plus side the location was very central only a 5 minute walk from O'Connell Street and the room...
