I cant really add much to the positive reviews so far expressed, what I will say is that any negatives I have read are from people who dont understand Dublin. These people expect gold taps and a sea view at these prices ? Get in the real world and write a helpful review. real people, real experience, real dublin -...

Attached a photo of the friendly hosts of Botanic Villa: Sandra and Ken. The Villa is located approx. 20 -30 minutes walking from the centre, but has many buses going to and from the center stopping close to it.

A really nice and helpful couple run this B&B but in my opinion I dont think the standard of the room I had and the bathroom is worth 45 eur a night. Cracks in the walls, electric plugging hanging in silvertape, spiderwebs, old dust on the lamp in the ceiling and a really wobbly matrass. The bath is cleaned several...

Excellent value for money. Really helpful staff. Nice breakfast. We arrived early in the morning while they were serving others with breakfast and when we weren't due to check in for hours but they went out of their way to get us parked and give us a room key before giving us helpful directions to get into the City Centre....

Our arrival at Botanic Villa was at 2am from a delayed flight and Ken greeted us warmly. The rooms were sufficient for two people and had enough space to be comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional, with Ken ensuring we had enough to eat. The hospitality was excellent, Ken was helpful, warm and friendly. I loved my stay in...

We chose this B&B because of the positive reviews on trip advisor, however we were very disappointed at the standard of the room. The linen was clean, however bathmat and pillowslip both had holes in them. The room is old and tired and the bathroom is the smallest we have experienced in six weeks of travel through Europe. On the positive side,it is a convenient...
