Our 1st time to visit and definitely not the last. Started our evening with a delicious cocktail downstairs and followed on with some excellent food upstairs. All reasonably priced and all served with a smile. Will return very soon.

The Fitzwilliam Hotel recommended the Cliff Townhouse as a great seafood restaurant. I loved the Mothers Day Menu and so enjoyed the choices for this special day. The beer battered fish and chips with mushy peas were delicious! Sadly the cost of my three relatively small glasses of wine exceeded the cost of the food!!

We have stayed here a few times. Great location and well appointed rooms, although a bit cramped for a family. (The single pull out bed is too small for grown kids!) Staff are friendly, very helpful and there is discounted parking parking nearby just off St Stephens Green. Breakfast is a treat with lots to offer including the standard homemade...

I've stayed in most hotels around the D2 area, but had never stayed here until now. That's my loss. What a great place to stay! The bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I've slept in for quite some years, in a spacious and classy room, with a well stocked Nespresso machine. Excellent wifi, even though I was on the...

Seven of went here for a very special birthday. From the moment we, the first couple to arrive, walked in the door we were "greeted" by one of two guys in a half hearted way. One lad just looked up and stared and then we instead went to the other guy. He asked us would we like to go downstairs...

Two friends and I had a very average meal in the Cliff Townhouse recently. While it's a very pleasant dining room, and the food was well presented, the quality of the meal itself, in terms of taste, was very disappointing. I'm sorry to say that I could not recommend a visit.

We visited as part of a work dinner and I had heard good things from friends who had eaten here before. Unfortunately the food was very average. I ordered a steak that was undercooked and full of fat. One of the worst steaks I had eaten in years. Others who had the seafood were happy but I would not be...

Anniversary lunch with my significant other. Set menu for Sunday. Was really put off by the waiter, who seemed quite taken aback that one of us wanted a starter and the other didn't...and only one of us wanted wine. Also felt he was trying to literally sell the side dishes to us. Wasn't overwhelmed with the food either. Found the...

We enjoyed a sumptuous Sunday roast here just last weekend. We were staying in the sister property 'The Cliff at Lyons' so were pretty sure we were in for a treat. And indeed we were. Our starters were fabulous, the accompanying breads included a yummy Guinness soda bread, and the beef was melt in the mouth delicious. If only we...

I had wondered for months what was happening to what was once the “La Mere Zou", I was pleasantly surprised to find a bright stylish wine bar. now the newly owned and named Urchin bar at the Cliff Town House.I wouldn't exactly call it a wine bar because there is an extensive cocktail menu that is truly superb created by...
