We visited The Norseman many times during our stay in Dublin. Great atmosphere with fantastic live music! It's a lively place with a well stocked bar. Popular with tourists in the temple bar area. We didn't eat here but the menu and food we saw looked great.

I highly recommend this hotel. It's a unique set up, on top of a bar in the Temple Bar area. You actually check in at the bar! The room was nice, spacious, and clean. It is loud due to the area, but it puts you right in the heart of things. Great landing spot, easily walkable for Dublin sights as...

We decided to stop in at The Norseman for Beef & Guinness pies with mash and gravy. We weren't leaving Ireland until we had! The pub had a great atmosphere and there was live music. The staff were friendly and the price of food was reasonable. Our pies came out and we were not disappointed. The meat was tender and...

Popped in for lunch after a walking tour. Very friendly welcome good quality food and reasonable priced for Dublin :-) Steak on the rocks a burger and two cokes 40 euro all in which isn't bad in the Temple Bar area.

Had a quiet couple of pints in here recently, in comparison to Gogarty's next door, which was absolutely heaving with people, the Norseman was relatively quiet, but it was nice to strike up a conversation at the bar with a couple of Americans, so the quietness was not a wasted visit.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal here, top quality home cooked food, tasted super. Got really busy in the restaurant upstairs but was really charming with the music playing downstairs. Staff really helpful and pleasant.

Dropped in for a quick pint while waiting for a friend nearby. I used to visit this place in my teens, pre- renovation. It was nicer then and had a more authentic Dublin pub feel about it. The bar counter was more worn and scratched, the walls were tobacco stained, before tobacco stain was a thing, the floor had a...

We stopped here on our walk through Temple Bar. There was a guy playing guitar with quite a large group of young girls singing along with him downstairs so it was a busy place! He was very good and even did a nice Adele. But upstairs was nice, quieter, and open with tables. We sat right up front by an...

Best chicken pot pie! Great pub downstairs with live music and a nice restaurant upstairs where you can sit and enjoy a meal while still feeling included in the live music since they pipe it in. We were trying to experience as many restaurants and possible and we came back to this one again.

We were in Dublin for a bit and were within walking distance of Temple Bar. We went to a number of pubs there and The Norseman was the most consistently great. Their fish and chips dinner was delicious and that's also where I discovered my love of Guinness! The live music can get a bit loud downstairs, so having dinner...
