We arrived to find a busy hotel and live music with what seemed to be a room full of people enjoying it. Our rooms weren't quite ready so we had to wait about 20 minutes but it was worth the wait. A large bedroom with TV and tea making facility, nice ensuite bathroom with a bath. Overlooks the diamond which...

Rooms are very dated. Stayed in one of their family rooms where the mattresses were terrible. Worst 2 nights sleep I've ever had in any hotel. Had dinner in the bar area which is the best part of the hotel. Food was average. Breakfast, included in package, was very good. Nice hotel, however, the room was about let down.

The hotel was very busy and had a good buzz about it, seem to have a lot of returning guess. We were down in Donegal looking for accommodation for our daughter who will be working in the town on a year placement, so this is the only reason we stayed overnight in this hotel. There is no doubt the hotel...

We recently held an event in the Abbey Hotel for over 150 people and it took place over 3 days and I cannot thank all the staff enough for how exceptional the service was. Danny and all the staff catered for our every need and were always there to assist regardless of our query. We also had food throughout the...

This hotel has a great location in the town centre. It provides parking nearby. We found all the staff extremely friendly and professional. My colleague was very impressed that they catered for her lactose intolerance without being notified in advance, as this is not the case in many hotels. The newly refurbished restaurant was due to open the following week....

I came up with my family to stay for a weekend. First of all, the rooms were too hot at night therefore we couldn't sleep with the heat. Also, the breakfast service was very bad. You had to queue to get your breakfast and at the worst of times you could be waiting 10-12 minutes. I also wanted a teacup...

We recently stayed in the Abbey hotel. For the price we were disappointed with our room. We were attending a wedding in another hotel so did not spend much time in the room when we checked in. When we returned from the wedding no one answered the intercom to let us in. We waited quite a while before banging the...

Visited the newly refurbished Market House Restaurant last Saturday evening. The new layout is excellent and the decor fantastic. The food and service were second to none. The Steak on the Stone really was one of the best I've ever had. All 4 of us had top class meals. Liam, Danny, Anne & Patricia have one of the best Restaurants...
