I stayed for a total of 7 nights and I couldn't recommend it more. It was so welcoming and comfortable, so clean and tidy. It felt more like staying with family than just a B&B. Breakfast was lovely. The house itself is fantastic, the artwork is beautiful and interesting. I had a single room which was very nice and warm...

We've spent one night in this Bed and Breakfast. The house was very nice and the hosts very warm ! It's very close to the city centre (we walked less than 5 minutes to reach the river). The hosts gave us a lot of good advice about Cork and what's to do around it. The morning, we had a very...

This is a very nice B&B. Paddy and Jane are extremely friendly and well informed on Corks many tourist attractions. Breakfast is top notch (as other reviewers have said ) and all rooms have complimentary tea/ coffee. My room had good views of the city. This B&B is only a couple of minutes drive from the city centre and there...

We stayed only one night in Sunmount with Jane and Paddy and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house itself is stunning, an old style town house with plenty of character and elegance. I loved the eclectic mix of art and photos on the walls that really gave it personality. The bedroom was lovely overlooking their beautiful garden, with comfy beds...

We concur with all of the excellent reviews of Sunmount B&B! We loved staying there and found Jane and Paddy to be charming hosts who made every effort to see that we were comfortable. It is a steep hike up the hill to their house from the city center, but worth it! Breakfasts were delicious and filling! Jane's garden is...

I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone going to Cork. Paddy and Jane were so welcoming, giving us directions, ensuring we were comfortable and serving us a very nice breakfast with home made wheaten bread! The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and it is only 10 minutes walk to the very centre of Cork. But it...

Sunmount is a cosy place in quiet surroundings up on a hill, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main bus station. A colourful little front garden, lovingly tended by Jane welcomes the visitor. The rooms are kind of old fashiond which adds to the warm and homely feeling. Jane and Paddy who run the B & B are the kindest...

Paddy and Jane are truly great. I have stayed at several more places in Cork in last 3 weeks and this B&B was my favourite. The place is quiet, the house nice and clean and Paddy makes a perfect breakfast. Highly recommended!

It was my second time at Sunmount and I'll surely come back again. It's the best B&B where I ever been in Ireland. Jane and Paddy are so kind, welcome and helpful. It's a pleasure to talk with them and they have always time for a chat! The B&B is very clean, comfortable, lovely and typically Irish. Is not far...

Lovely high-ceilinged Georgian house with fine views of Cork, run by a couple who genuinely seem to enjoy hosting people. Breakfast was perfect, beds were comfortable (I'm 6' 3") and the place generally was tasteful yet relaxed. Trying to think of a negative for the sake of balance but nothing suggests itself. Would definitely return.

A small quiet family run B&B set on a hill with nice views and a pretty garden, but only a 10-minute walk to the city centre, bus and train stations. The terraced house is approximately 160 years old and is furnished with some interesting antique items and paintings. Breakfast is standard full Irish, with homemade brown bread, jams & marmalade.
