The location of this B&B is excellent (just 5 mins walk from centretown), the room was clean, and even as a light sleeper I slept well (room at the back, facing the town). The breakfast was also tasty and ample. What stands out about Auburn House however is the host, Olive, who not only provided a warm welcome but was...

We loved the city of Cork, and the location of this B&B couldn't have been better. Olive was very gracious and extremely helpful in pointing us to great places to eat, drink and shop. Breakfast was fantastic, shower pressure was great, and the bed was fine. We stayed in a room at the front of the house, which was a...

The hustle and bustle of Cork is tempered by this exceptionally warming environment otherwise known as the Auburn House. Full of a love for life and Ireland, this establishment was a comforting as a glass of Guinness after a long hard day. One conversation with proprietor Olive made this gal from Virginia feel as though she had lived (and LOVED)...

We stayed here one night and we are so glad we did. The accomodations were perfect for what we needed but like others have mentioned, what makes the difference here is the hospitality. Olive was so genuine and nice that through out our trip in Ireland, we had fun rating the people we encountered as either "Olive" or "non-Olive". Huge...

The hosts are very warm and welcoming - Olive really makes you feel like coming home! We - as a family of 3 had a spacious room across the road, though the rooms in the house itself might be a bit handier. Breakfast - fantastic!! Located very close to the city centre, everything in walking distance!!! We would always come...

We spent one night at the Auburn House and we really enjoyed it. It's very close to the city centre (just about 5 minutes walking) and we could park our car nearby. Olive and Kieran are very friendly hosts and they had many good tips for us. We went to a restaurant they told us and to a pub with...

I stayed here for one night in March, and I wished I had the time to stay in Cork for 2 nights. The location is pretty good as its next to a few good pubs, and maybe a 15-20 walk to Oliver Plunkett St. Olive is such a nice person, her hospitality goes above and beyond. She came out and...

We recently visited our daughter who is studying at the University this semester in Cork and cannot say enough good things about our stay at Auburn House. We met a lot of nice people in Ireland but not sure that there any people nicer than Olive and her husband! They were very welcoming and thoughtful to us and gave great...

From Olive meeting us outside with a smile, to her wonderful husband demanding we not carry out bags, this was a wonderful place. Walkable to everything, clean, cute rooms. You can see the time spent by Olive and Kieran thinking everything out. From the brochures and guide books about, to having tea available all day. This was our best night...
