My favourite hotel to stay in. You will not meet nicer staff. They are so friendly & will do anything to help. It's a real homely feel. The food is fantastic. The location is perfect, just a stroll in to town. The setting is so gorgeous. We had cocktails overlooking the stunning gardens & Cork City. You would not need to leave the hotel for the weekend. The apartments are also fabulous for groups or families. I cannot wait to book again once they reopen but for now we enjoy a regular visit to the Coffee van which offer tasty treats & sandwiches/ wraps.

Dear Vivienne, Many thanks for taking the time to review your experience of The Montenotte hotel. I am delighted to see that you and your friends had such an enjoyable getaway and imagine you are only waiting for the next opportunity to organise another one! We have an amazing team here at The Montenotte Hotel and would all consider each other family, this would defiantly be the reason the hotel feels so homely. The Panorama Bistro is the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening. The food, cocktails and views are beyond compare. We are currently in the process of enhancing our offering while we wait for the day that we can reopen to all public and cannot wait for everyone to see these. The apartments are the perfect choice for families and groups, especially since they have recently been refurbished. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you back for another seamless stay. Warm Regards, David Dunlea, Front of House & Guest Relations Manager.

Hotel's Favourite
I have never experienced such a stellar team of staff, from their main reception desk to their bar and restaurant staff we were truly enchanted by every single member of staff we came across over our stay from Elaine's great welcome on the front desk to Roisin who kindly showed us to our seats for the complimentary film screening in their cinema room! The setting and standard of the Montenotte is second to none, truly prestigious and worthy of a five star rating thanks to their exemplary performance. Keep up the great work, we cant wait to visit you again, thank you!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful service that was provided for a very special afternoon tea with a difference! In the midst of covid restrictions, I tried in vain to arrange a special home delivery of afternoon tea for two. I almost gave up when a friend suggested the Montenotte Hotel. What an amazing service! They didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond the call of duty, and literally went the extra mile. Although the delivery address was outside the 5 km radius, a member of staff took it upon himself to drop it off as it was on his way home. No delivery charge and no hesitation to help out. I was absolutely thrilled, as was the recipient. An absolutely abundant feast, with all sorts of sandwiches, cakes, macaroons, scones and other delicacies. Everything beautifully prepared, fresh, and delicious. And all delivered with a lovely potted plant as a bonus. I cannot recommend the Montenotte Hotel highly enough, particularly in regard to service and sheer goodwill. It is this level of attention to detail and personal touches that really make a difference and show how outstanding their customer service and staff are. I can only thank them and wish them all the very best when life starts to get back to some sort of normality.

Dear Honor, Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a kind review about your Mother's Day Afternoon Tea. I can imagine that in normal times it can be difficult to try mark any occasion from Portugal, let alone in the current times . Nonetheless, we are thrilled to see that word of mouth about our amazing Afternoon tea had made it's way across the sea. I'm delighted that your mother enjoyed her surprise and I will be sure to pass your kind words on to Ray who personally delivered the Afternoon Tea to her. We hope to have the opportunity to welcoming you and you mother to the hotel for Afternoon Tea when time allows. Warm Regards, David Dunlea, Front of House & Guest Relations Manager.

Our wedding anniversary was on St. Patrick’s day & given the limited options for celebrating currently I arranged Take away Afternoon Tea from The Montenotte Hotel as a surprise for my partner. All I can say is it was amazing & we couldn’t beat it as an ultimate treat & way to celebrate. My partner was super impressed when I arrived with the beautiful stand. The presentation as you can see from the pictures was gorgeous & very cute looking. The stand was packed with tasty treats we spent hours enjoying & every single thing was delicious. I would totally recommend this as a lockdown treat & way of having an intimate celebration at home. Perfect for lockdown.

Our stands are prepared minutes before the collection time to ensure they are as fresh as possible every time. I'm delighted that you and your partner enjoyed the selection of our St. Patricks Day themed Afternoon Tea and even more so that we were able to help you mark your occasion. Thank you for your support in these times. Warm Regards, David Dunlea, Front of House & Guest Relations Manager.

I got an afternoon tea for my mother for Mother's Day March 2021 and I was delighted with the service and the food. Service: On arrival a member of staff spotted my car by the door and came out to me. He took my name, asked me for my tea order and placed the afternoon tea cakes and sandwich stand in the boot of my car. Food: Lovely sandwiches of beef, crab, ham and cheese with lots of lovely little cakes to go along with it. They even gave a potted plant with the tea which was most unexpected and which my mother was delighted with. I, also, love that it comes in a stand making the presentation wonderful. Thank you for making a difficult time a little brighter. I can't wait to come back and stay in the hotel again. They really have something special there.
