We stayed at this hotel last week and we really were very disappointed even angry at the limit of leaving in the middle of the night if we had not paid the room on arrival! No parking or just for 3 cars, it's convenient downtown! The receptionist is really not smiling and really gives the impression that we are disturbing... More

On 23/10/16 we stayed at this B&B for two nights in room 11. It all started out so well, as the room was lovely, clean and comfortable upon entering. Unfortunately, our stay took a turn for the worse. The accommodation and experience was unsatisfactory in the following ways. On the evening of our arrival, I had a bath. During my... More

Lovely place and nice staff. Impressed with the rooms etc. It's only a walk away from plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff let us stay after we checked out and use the dining area, offered us drinks etc

First off, on the website the place makes you think it is a vintage refurbished B&B but when we got inside it was very old, and needed a HUGE REFURBISHMENT. Noises all night long ... very small bathrooms. Horrible old beds. Couldnt sleep for the 2 weeks that we stayed there. Breakfast was not included despite it being a bed... More

This is a truly lovely experience and a must if you are visiting Cork City. The fact that you can ring a tune on the bells of Shandon to be heard all over the city is unique. It's the best €5 I have ever spent. Don't miss the upper balcony and the inside of the church itself.

You won't get too many opportunities to ring church bells so a visit is worth it for that alone.. Lovely church and great views over Cork when you climb to the top. You have to climb through the bell chamber (with ear protection). Be warned that it's very tight.

Last Saturday August 27th, the Milford Historical Society Group visited Shandon Bells. We were welcomed by Marisa o'Mahoney who actually hails from Milford and Mary. Marisa did a superb job telling us all about the history before guiding us to the top of the building where the views of Cork City were spectacular. Of course everyone tried their hand at... More

Cork is a lovely city. What better way than to see it from up high. A stunning building to visit in its own right and exquisite views over a lovely city. Ear defenders are supplied to protect your hearing as you climb the bell tower. A fair price for a lovely experience. I would have taken out son (8) but... More

We were two couples, so we had two rooms here for two nights. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and modern. The decor was really nice, sort of Victorian and pretty. Parking was a little tight but it was so nice to have free parking in the city. We didn't try breakfast here, so can't comment on... More

At St Anne's Church, you can pay just €5 to go up to the Bells and Tower. The church itself is free to enter, but to enter the tower, you have to pay. I think this is a bargain for the experience. This also includes free hire of ear defenders! The lady on the desk was very lovely and easy... More
