My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during our honeymoon in Cork and we both agree it's the best B&B we've ever experienced. The rooms are cozy, clean and quiet, the breakfasts are delicious, and Tony & Avril were exceptionally accommodating, recommending local sights and helping us out when some travel plans fell through. The whole time it...

I stayed in the house just down the street from the house Tony and Avril live in and where breakfast is also served. The downstairs lounge, with fridge, range, everything needed to make coffee and tea, table and chairs as well as a TV and couch to get comfy on meant we had access to the gorgeous (even at the...

On our 3-night stay in Cork, the Fernroyd House was certainly the highlight. To be so far away from home, I've never felt as much like part of the family as at the Fernroyd House! Tony and Avril were there for what seemed like every minute of our stay, with a helpful hint on every other breath. If you're looking...

There are few "sure things" in this life, but Fernroyd House is one! Tony & Avril run a superior B&B and we felt like part of the family. I don't know where they get the energy, but we were tended to at every turn. These folks are the very best. I'm not sure if we will ever get back to...

We just traveled to Ireland for a week-long vacation and spent 1 night at Fernroyd House B&B in Cork. Avril and Tony are wonderful hosts that go out of their way to help their guests have a great stay in the city. The B&B itself is right near the University campus and 10 minutes' walk from the best fish and...

We were very fortunate to be able to visit Cork again (first time in 2013) and stayed at this B&B for a second time. It is terrific. Tony and Avril are remarkable hosts - they cannot do enough for their guests and work hard to make everyone feel at home. The rooms are a good size and very well laid...

We spent two nights at the Fernroyd House, and Avril made us feel very welcomed upon our arrival. We were on the second floor of the annex which was two houses up from the main B&B. Tony carried our heavy luggage up to our bedroom, and he and Avril gave us lots of good info to help us get around...

We spent 3 nights at Fernroyd House and had a great time. Our room was big with a huge bed, nice bathroom, everything was clean. WIFI available. Breakfast was fantastic! The owners were really friendly and caring and also gave us advices for where to eat and which pubs to go. The B&B is located directly next to the university...
