The entire stay was delightful. Room was homely and comfortable. As others have said breakfast was amazing with plenty of refills of tea and coffee. Bus stop right outside which meant easy city access and also could get to Middleton for the Jameson distillery. I would recommend a Leap frog pass in advance. This where I disagree with some previous...

I didn't actually end up staying here in the end as I had booked through a website which shouldn't have listed their rooms. Belvedere lodge haven't had any dealings with the company I booked through for years however they helped me out as they were full. Paddy and Vincent ensured that they found me somewhere else to stay, fed me...

This is a traditional type of hotel with rather dated aspects: eg most of the furniture. That said, it's efficiently and hospitably run, and the breakfast is outstanding. Take your walking shoes if there's a bus strike.

Clean and presentable accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Is situated on a very busy road, but as a base to visit the area from this didn't cause an issue and easy access to main routes.. Plenty of free parking at the front of the property. Takes about 30 minutes to walk into the city or 10euro for a cab.

Location is a far from the center however ideal if you have a car as a two gas stations are close to the property. No shops in walking distance of 2km. The B&B is charming old house however nicely taken cared off. Staff was happy to help and polite. Room was nice decorated and had basic requirements. Breakfast was enough,...

We spent 4 nights here, the room was clean and comfy with the usual bits and pieces you expect, but the room had marks over the walls could have done with a fresh coat of paint. But what let the Belvedere down was the lack of a human touch, when we were checked in we were shown to our room...

Stayed one night....would not go back. Toilet wouldn't flush. Shower didn't work. Located on busy road surrounded by highway. Old, no working lightbulb in lamps. Family who stayed in other room had no cold water, hot only. Lounge area sooooo small for size of place. Tried to cancel booking after seeing state of the place was told NO.....will take the...

I stayed at the Belvedere lodge recently. I arrived close to 10pm but was greeted by a pleasant lady who promptly had me checked me. The room (no.9) was comfortable and clean. Couple of little things that need updating but nothing major that had an affect on my stay. I had a door leading out to the rear garden areas...

A BB where you're left to yourself. We loved how all the rooms face out on to a quirky garden, beautiful on a sunny morning. Breakfast was perfect with plenty to choose from and the tables are set with pretty matching china.
