I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! My fiancé and I were fortunate enough to be booked into one of the newly renovated rooms, which resemble a New York loft style apartment. The facilities in the room exceeded our expectations. Slippers, nespresso machine, good toiletries, recent magazines and importantly a large, very comfortable bed. The staff are wonderful and the...

Hotel is very convenient for shoppers, or those with various appointments in Cork. Staff were very helpful as we do not like lifts, and placed us in a very comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent, though we had dinner elsewhere, with our son. The cost for the overnight stay was very keen ( some B & B's were more expensive).

Booked last minute for one night and got a great rate on Expedia. Older hotel but modern furnishing. The robes, slippers and tea and coffee selection in the room are a lovely touch. Also enjoyed the waterfall shower head. Service was wonderful and you get discounted parking.

Staff, check in experience and bathroom facilities needs improving. Not the best and most comfortable stay in a hotel I've had. Hotel could be improved by modernising it and adding new and improved bathroom facilities to the bedrooms.

Stayed here over the Easter weekend. Cork is such a lovely city I never thought about visiting before but I definitely will again! The Metropole's location was amazing and the staff were very friendly. There were a few hiccups but nothing that would stop me from returning again.
