I stayed at the Garnish House with my granddaughter when we flew over from the UK for a weekend. We had a wonderful welcome with so many gorgeous scones we couldn't eat them all. We had a large room and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast was scrumptious with many different varieties of food. Nothing was too much trouble and the...

I've stayed here on a few occasions, and have had an excellent experience every time. Beds are comfortable, everything is clean and well maintained, the staff are very friendly helpful and the afternoon tea is always welcome after a long journey. It's a great location for UCC and pretty handy for the city as well. Really can't fault it at...

A warm welcome awaits you, as does the tea and scones. What a great start. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Our room was small, but very adequate. Treat yourself to a full Irish breakfast or the Ham omelette, you will not be disappointed. A great location 15 minutes from the main area of town...

Nicest folks ever. Very accommodating. Room at front of house but not noisy. Most amazing breakfast ever! I have never seen so many options offered and encouraged! Didn't need to eat again until mid evening! Great location across from UCC and close enough to walk into Cork City.

Stayed for one night with my son, when seeing a performance at the Everyman theatre. Staff are incredibly polite and helpful. Wonderful to have complementary tea and scones on arrival. Garnish House is actually 3 properties, we were located in the house across the road, which has a shared sitting room and communal kitchen. Bedroom was spacious (we had been...

Over the past six months I've been down to Cork City for several overnight trips. I have generally stayed in the B&Bs on Western Road. It was my first stay in Garnish House. I would definitely go back. (I didn't have the breakfast though). The Pros: very friendly staff, 24 hour reception, good value for money, very easy to find,...

I stayed here 3 times on the run to Christmas. The first time I was going into hospital for a procedure that required fasting - so I didnt have breakfast. The next two times I did have breakfast - and what a breakfast - probably the best this side of heaven. Staff are excellent and rooms are comfortable. I also...
