It is pretty good. We were in 5 people and have shared a room in this hostel on Cork city. The Sheilas Hostel always has a lot of people traveling and sleeping there. I really really really recommend it!

We went to Sheilas for one night during Valentines day week end to enjoy the spirit of Cork for the France-Ireland 6 nations match. The first thing was that the bedroom wasn't ready at the checking time even though booked in advance. The rooms are more then small, the price is overrated for the (called) quality of the bedroom, the...

Average hostel, but this is not a bad thing, most things in life are average , that's why it's called average. Clean and nice staff. It's a 10 minute walk into the city center which in a place like Cork is a good bit out. Nice atmosphere.

This hostel as reflected in other comments, is a serious mixed bag. The room that we stayed in was very small and narrow - to the extent that it resembled a slightly wide corridor. The shared areas such as the lounge and kitchen were ok though. We didn't bother to purchase breakfast as it appeared to be nothing special. On...

Stayed here on Saturday November 8th. 4 of us were in Cork for a stag so we wouldn't be spending much time in the room anyway. Not that we wanted to spend as little time as possible there or anything. The place was clean, inexpensive and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Don't be deceived by the price 15 euros because literally everything is an up charge, luggage room, breakfast, towel... It was advertised that the pub gave a discount for hostelers staying at Sheila's, this is not true. On another note, the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Friendly and clean and in a fantastic location for everything. The hotel key also gives you discounts almost everywhere in town. The rooms were fine - small but functional. Good mattresses and real duvets. The bathroom in our room was spacious and clean as well. Continental breakfast was available but we didn't use it. One of the better hostels I...

Stayed there 3 nights. The staff was just ok, the rooms are tiny - jail tiny !!! Everything coasts extra money, even leaving our bags an hour after checkout required money. Washroom: only 2 washrooms are used by 3 floors.

we stayed at sheilas hostel for 4 nights and found the experience to be exactly as we thought, nothing fancy, just someplace to sleep and use as a base camp. The hostel was clean, tidy and there was very little noise after 11-30. The staff at reception were great as well.Hope this helps others
